With the championship game of the College World Series set, Baseball Factory wanted to congratulate the 56 Baseball Factory and Team One Alumni that participated in this year's College World Series. Every team had at least four players from their roster participate in one of our programs. There are 11 players on both Miami and Stanford's rosters that worked with the Baseball Factory and Team One. Baseball Factory and Team One will have 14 players represented in the College World Series Final between the Bulldogs of Georgia and the Bulldogs of Fresno State.
One of the standout Team One alumni in this year's College World Series was Jemile Weeks, of the Miami Hurricanes batted .362 this year with 13 homeruns, 62 RBI's and 21 stolen bases. Two of the standouts that will be fighting for the championship this season are Danny Muno of Fresno State and Joshua Fields of the University of Georgia. A freshman, Danny Muno is already making an impact with his team. He was named Rookie of the Year in the WAC and drove in five runs in the first game of the College World Series. For the season, Danny batted .335 with 3 homeruns, 27 RBI's, 10 stolen bases and 58 runs.
