It all started in Columbia, Maryland! Before we were a National Powerhouse with 3,000 players drafted into professional baseball and over 98% of Division I colleges having at least one Baseball Factory player on their respective rosters, we were a local organization with the very best in training right here in Maryland. Today, we are still proud to offer players unmatched instructional opportunities at our headquarters, and a passionate staff that is second to none.
Maryland Training is a grassroots division of Baseball Factory that centers around the Baseball Factory Headquarters in Columbia, MD and Baseball Factory Field at UMBC in Baltimore, MD. This division gives players of all ages a unique advantage through our individual instruction, small group training, groups classes, team training, mini-camps, tournaments, coaches clinics and more. This division works with both teams and players, utilizing the advantages of our expert staff and top notch facilities we have here in Maryland. It is the goal of the Maryland Training Division to help teams and players accelerate their baseball skill development and ultimately find success at the youth, high school and college levels. In addition, we have had many success stories of players training on a regular basis here at Baseball Factory and then going on to be selected for Under Armour Baseball Factory National Teams where they compete against some of the best players in the nation. |

Individual Lesson
Instructors work in a one-on-one setting with players based on the players’ individual needs. Individual lessons give each player the opportunity to focus on the mechanics needed to improve and maintain their specific skills in a comfortable, intimate setting. Types of individual lessons include: hitting, pitching, infielding and catching.
Group Lesson
Instructors work in a similar format to individual lessons but in small groups. Group lessons will consist of no more than three players.
Team Video Analysis
In a two-hour period, instructors will videotape and breakdown a player’s mechanics to provide them with both strengths and areas which need improvement. Instructors will also provide drills which players can do on their own or with their team to help them improve.
Outdoor Training
Instructors will travel to your team’s desired location to train outdoors. Teams may also selected to train outdoors at Baseball Factory Field @ UMBC.
Team Specific Training
Instructors will attend practice and provide a plan specifically tailored to address your team needs. Practice plans can consist of basic team drills, as well as more intricate game-like situations.
