Q: Why did you start the Baseball Factory?
A: Out of passion and overall love for the game. I wanted to help kids accomplish their dream of playing college baseball.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A:
I started at Villanova, but transferred my sophomore year to the University of Pennsylvania.
Q: What position did you play?
A: Middle infield, mostly at second.

Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament, powered by Baseball Factory : Recap

Where in the country can you find 300 of the top high school baseball players, all in the same location…in January? The answer is simple, Tucson, Arizona. The third annual Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament, powered by Baseball Factory took place this past weekend at the Kino Sports Complex, spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. This event is the only non-paper Pre-Season All-American recognition in the country. Unlike the past two Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournaments the weather was exceptional. The players started and ended the day in short sleeves with temperatures mostly in the mid 70s....[more]

"The Epitome of the 6th Tool"

We talk a lot about the five tools that scouts look for in position players - hitting, power, defense, arm strength and running speed. In addition to these five, scouts have to assess a player’s make-up. This is the group of intangibles inside a player’s heart and mind that cannot be measured by a stopwatch or radar gun. Desire, work ethic, competitiveness, character and being a good teammate are just a few of the intangibles that go into a player’s make-up. This make-up is often referred to as “the 6th tool.”
