Hello Ryan,
On behalf of my son, Spencer, I wanted to thank you and all the great folks at the Baseball Factory for allowing my son to participate in the 2008 Under Armour Pre-season All American Tournament.  We saw some very good baseball players.  We all had a fantastic time!

My son was on Team USA (white).  He was very excited to put on the uniform.  The players on that team came from all over the country and they bonded right away.  It seemed like they had known each other for a long time.  They got along extremely well and pulled hard for each other and supported one another.

My son pitched three innings in the early Sunday morning game.  He was very nervous and hit the first batter with the first pitch he threw. Once he got through the 1st inning, he felt a bit more relaxed and did much better.  He learned that he needs to continue to improve in all areas of the game if he intends to play at this higher level.

The speakers were very inspirational, particularly Clint Hurdle and Rich Sofield.  Rick is an incredibly articulate and gifted speaker.  Spencer told me that "I though Rick was speaking directly to me personally."  I also enjoyed him very much because he spoke about many of the things I've been telling my son for years concerning character, responsibility, school work and just doing the right things.  I think it means more to my son and most young men when they here this kind of message from men that they look up to and that have gone through the things he spoke of.  At the end of Rick's talk, we both went up to thank him personally.

Please make sure you pass this message to Rick, Clint, Bernie and all the other folks behind the scenes that put this excellent program together.
