Steve,
Just a short note to tell you how much all the umpires enjoyed the games this weekend. Several of them told me how impressed they were with the attitude of all your coaches. All of them were positive with the players. The players could not have been more professional in their approach to the game, no whining, no backward looks, no complaints, no excuses and no problems whatsoever. Coming from a military background I realize that if little things are done properly, normally so are the big things. I think that speaks volumes for the type coaches that you use. I was doing the plate on Saturday in the Stadium and a ball got past the catcher. I put another ball in play. The on-deck batter picked up the ball and when time was out called me flipped me the ball and said, "Blue, here's that ball." I thanked him. When he then came to bat he told me, "I want to apologize to you." I said, "What for?" He replied , "My coach said I should address you as Mr. Umpire, not Blue and that I should have handed you the ball" That is class and I think that little happening epitomizes Baseball Factory and the type organization it is. Again It is a pleasure to be able to assist Baseball Factory in general and you in particular.
