Personal Recruiting Directors: The experience and knowledge of our Accelerated College Recruiting staff can give you the edge necessary along your path to college baseball.
Welcome Call : Upon registration, you will receive a welcoming call from the ACR Staff. Our staff will start to complete your college recruiting profile to help you through the process..
Accelerated College Recruiting Program Handbook and Workbook: You will be provided with a 100 page handbook and workbook with detailed information on the college recruiting process. 2009 Grads – Your handbook will have information on developing your target list, researching college programs, initial contact with coaches, filing with the NCAA Clearinghouse, taking unofficial visits to tour campuses and watch games/practices and other valuable information based on your situation. 2008 Grads – Your handbook will focus on narrowing your target list, filling out your college applications, filing for financial aid, how to obtain a scholarship, setting up your official college visits, in-person and phone interviews with coaches and other valuable information that you will need for your senior year.
Small Group Private Video Session: Players in our ACR Program will benefit from the workout and video session in MD and CA with our professional staff. The workout takes place in a relaxed environment enabling you to show your true ability and skills. The ACR staff will assist you in putting together a top-notch video using all of the angles that college coaches want to see. While you workout, the video camera will be stopped for personalized instruction and tips.
Play-by-Play Video Editing: All footage is shot on crystal clear digital video. Your Personal Recruiting Director will review every pitch, every swing, every ground ball, etc. and edit the video so that only your top performance is captured
Realistic Evaluation by a Pro Scout: The professional scouts on our staff will analyze your mechanics, body, attitude, and tools in order to develop a detailed personal evaluation. We will update your evaluation as we see you perform at different Baseball Factory events. College coaches rely on the unbiased and professional opinions of our evaluators.
Online Exposure: We want you to get noticed, so you will be provided with a personal web page that contains an Online Video of your performance and your detailed evaluation. A link to your web page can be emailed directly to any college coach or professional scout in the country and they will be able to instantly view your Online Video and evaluation. Both college recruiters and scouts are constantly traveling but nearly always have internet access on the road. An email link makes it easier for them to recruit and gives you better exposure.
Group Presentation: Our Personal Recruiting Directors will walk you through a detailed presentation on the ins and outs of the college recruiting process. The group presentation will take place the night before your small group private video session. You will leave with a copy of the presentation, which you can refer to after the event is over.
In-depth College Research: Do you want to know which programs are recruiting players at your position? We will do continuous research to find out which colleges are strong at your position, and which colleges will be heavily recruiting players at your position. We will compile this information into a database that will be posted online and sent to you quarterly by email.
Follow up Consultation: We will schedule a follow up consultation by phone approximately two weeks after your video filming workout, once your evaluation has been completed. This conference call will be with your entire family, not just the player, so that everyone is on the same page. During this call we will work together to create a target list of 20 schools that match your academic, athletic and social needs. Kelly Kulina will work with our staff of experienced former college coaches, professional scouts and former professional players to develop this list, personal to your profile.
Baseball University, sponsored by Baseball America: Advanced College Recruiting Course: Baseball University is the first interactive online, distance learning program in the sports industry. Kelly Kulina former Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Maryland, will lead you step by step through the issues you will be facing throughout the recruiting process.
