Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona Offers Players:

Three Days of Intense Training with Professional Coaches
♦ Training will focus on advanced development of athletic actions.
♦ Training will take place from morning until night.
♦ Instruction will be designed to better your individual skills as well as team fundamentals.
• Receive corrective videos targeted specifically for you to continue your development after the event.
♦ Our coaches will work with you to determine areas to work on. Together you will come up with an action plan to fix your weaknesses and improve your strengths.

Translate your skills from practice into live game situations
♦ You will participate in scrimmages against other advanced level competition.
♦ Our coaches will make adjustments based on observations they make during live game play.
♦ Make changes to your mechanics now to help you find greater success during your spring season, when games really count.

Athletic agility testing and baseball specific strength training
♦ In order to help you become a better player, as well as help prevent injury, you will be screened using advanced athletic testing.
♦ Learn strength training techniques specifically designed for baseball.

Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona Information

Date: Thursday , November 5 – Sunday, November 8, 2015
Gene Autry ParkThe Gene Autry Baseball Complex, which opened in March of 1984, is a 3-field baseball complex in Northeast Mesa. The complex was developed for cooperative usage between the City of Mesa and the Los Angeles Angels from 1984 to 2006.
Location: The Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona will take place at the Gene Autry Sports Complex in Mesa, Arizona. Players will be immersed in baseball from morning 'til night.
Lodging Info: Baseball Factory Event Headquarters

Parents: A block of rooms will be reserved for Baseball Factory parents.
Flight Info/Itinerary Day 1: Arrival at Phoenix International Airport, Check-in, Player/Staff introductions

Day 2-3: Breakfast, Morning Instruction/Evaluation, Lunch, Afternoon Instruction/Evaluation, Dinner, Speakers, and Evening Instruction.

Instruction stations focused on hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, and speed and strength training. Players will also participate in scrimmage games.

Day 4: Breakfast, Morning Instruction, Lunch, Afternoon Instruction, Departure
Past Coaches Include: Andy Ferguson: Senior Director of Baseball Operations at Baseball Factory, former Associate Scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Diego Padres; played his college baseball at North Carolina State

Tony Diaz: Diaz was drafted by the Angels in 1995, but his career was cut short by an arm injury. He graduated from Florida International University in 1998 and joined the Colorado Rockies organization in 2000. Diaz is currently the Manager of the Casper Rockies, a single A-affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
Important Event Info: 

♦Players will meet Baseball Factory staff at the Phoenix International Airport baggage claim
♦ Players are transported in charter buses/vans from site to site
♦ Players are fully supervised 24 hours a day
♦ Players will eat three sit down meals a day
♦ No spending money needed
♦ Uniform will consist of Baseball Factory shirt and hat
♦ Players need to bring all necessary baseball equipment for training and competition
♦ Players receive a detailed player info pack upon registration
♦ Players receive access to the Recruiting, Education & Development Manual to assist in their player development and the college recruiting process.
♦ Parents welcome to attend this event, but it is not a requirement for participation.
