More of L.J...With 38 RBI’s as well as seven home runs this past season, L.J. Hoes is a highly rated prospect from St. Johns College High School in Washington, D.C. The centerfielder is a two time First Team All-American, a Conference Player of the Year, a three-time First Team All-Conference, preformed and was selected for the USA National Team in 2006. The highlight of his baseball career was during the USA National Team’s championship game against Venezuela, winning 10-0. By modeling his game after Andruw Jones and Ken Griffey Jr., L.J. hopes to play professional baseball in the majors. He looks forward to the Baseball Express Cape Cod Classic, presented by Under Armour and the chance to get to know and play with other top college recruits from around the nation. L.J. has already committed to UNC, and will be playing baseball for the Tar Heels during the fall of 2008.
