Casey Kelly is a rising senior and shortstop at Sarasota High School in Florida. Casey has won numerous baseball accolades including Area Player of the Year and Athlete of the Year. The highlight of his baseball career includes winning states this year. Casey hopes to get drafted out of high school to play professional baseball. In fact, he comes from a family of professional players: his father Pat Kelly and uncle Mike Kelly played for the Toronto Blue Jays, his cousin Dustin Kelly plays for the Boston Red Sox, and his brother Chris Kelly plays for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Casey considers his inside knowledge of the game his biggest strength but hopes to sharpen his fielding and hitting skills. He looks forward to playing against the best high school players in the country and having a national TV performance. Currently Tennessee, Old Miss, and Arizona State are heavily recruiting Casey. |
