More of Clay ...Clay is a rising senior and right-handed pitcher at Dunedin High School in Dunedin, Florida. With a pitching record of 9-2 and an ERA of 1.30, Clay managed 104 strikeouts in 69 innings. His best performance this season occurred when he pitched back-to-back no hitters, and went 22 straight innings without letting up a hit. Clay has won such prestigious awards as First Team All Sun Coast, Third Team All-State, and was named a Top Ten Player at the Team One South Showcase. He models his game after Roger Clemens and Nolan Ryan, and like them, hopes to play professional baseball as well. Clay considers his greatest strength to be his work ethic, and is excited to apply it to the Baseball Express Cape Cod Classic, presented by Under Armour. Florida, South Carolina, LSU, Stetson, USF, Columbia, Dartmouth, and FIU are heavily recruiting Clay.
