More of J.P. ...J.P. is a rising senior at Canyon High School in New Braunfels, Texas. As a centerfielder, he has led his team to an overall record of 30-6. His best performance this season included two home runs and five RBI’s. The highlight of his baseball career occurred during this season’s second playoff game where J.P. hit a home run over the scoreboard at Wolff Stadium, home of the Antonio Missions, Double AA affiliate of the Padres. His best strength is hitting, but he wants to improve his speed. J.P. hopes to make it to Omaha while playing college baseball as well as get drafted in one of the first few rounds of the amateur draft. He looks forward to playing against the best and having fun at this year’s Baseball Express Cape Cod Classic, presented by Under Armour. Vanderbilt, Rice, UT, and Miami are currently recruiting J.P.
