Baseball Factory

Hi Steve and Dave,

Kevin had a great time. He called the facility "beast." He said that it is amazing how much improvement he can gain in just a few days with instructors and players like you assembled. He loves Rick Sofield. He said he felt that he fit in well both socially and in terms of playing ability. While he had a great time at the Cape Cod camp, he said that he felt more comfortable this time, most likely because of that prior experience. I also asked him if he got the same quality of instruction that he got from working one-on-one with Joe Lake last month and he said "yes" both as to hitting and fielding.

Finally, I asked him if he wants to do it again next year and he said "definitely."

It was interesting to me that he saw the developmental value of traveling alone, spending a few intense days with kids who had been strangers to him and working with instructors who have high expectations. It definitely made him feel good about himself.

The written feedback is good. I interpret it to mean he basically has good fundamentals, but must continue to develop his baseball skills as he develops his strength (which will come with growth), speed (he said that he cut a full second off of his 60-yard dash time) and agility.

We will use the feedback over the winter. Let us know what you think the next step(s) are with your organization.

Thanks for giving him such a great opportunity.

Thanks and best regards,

Kevin Mawe
