As a College Coach/Recruiter at UCSD from 2002-2008, it was always tough to see every player play that was interested in our program. With the development of player web pages on the Baseball Factory's web site, I was able to get a ton of information on each player. It was helpful to have some raw numbers, but the video was the most helpful tool (especially for players with multiple videos/events). It became very easy for prospects to send me an email & within minutes I could let the player know our level of interest. I was able to tell the player that we were either not interested or that we liked what we saw and needed to see him play in person as soon as possible. For the players who have been in the program longer, it was helpful to watch their old videos to see their development. The Baseball Factory video/eval/development system has made it easier for college coaches to scout more players & conversely, for the players to be evaluated by more schools, all over the country.
