What is the Little League Baseball® Big Diamond Prep Camp?
The Little League® Big Diamond Prep Camp gives Little Leaguers® the opportunity to train with the best coaches in the nation. Our top-notch staff will focus on the tips and skills needed to make the transition to the 90-foot diamond easier for each player. Get ready to make the jump to the Big Diamond!
Two Days of Training in the fall with Professional Coaches working on the following skills:
Defensive Training
Develop quicker release on throws needed for the 90-foot diamond
Learn to have better carry on throws needed at this level
Learn proper defensive positioning
Pick-offs for pitchers
Learn how to shut down the running game
Advanced arm care
Offensive Training
Driving the ball into the outfield
Using the bunt to your advantage
Learning the proper way to take a lead off the base
Learning how to take the proper angles on the bases
Develop the knowledge on how to properly perform a head first slide
