I just wanted you to know how grateful we are that Tyler was extended this wonderful opportunity. I know the boys have had a busy schedule, but we’ve communicated with Tyler via text messaging and telephone calls; each time his excitement over this experience continues to grow. Tyler also informed his Mom during Friday’s conversation to have me reserve a tunnel at Extra Innings on Tuesday evening, because I won’t believe how his hitting has improved. He also spoke favorably of the other coaches and is extremely proud over Rick Sofield’s nickname for him – “Slick”.
