FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICA GAME TAKES THE DIAMOND AT HISTORIC WRIGLEY FIELD ON AUGUST 13TH
The Nation’s Top High School Baseball Players Will Be Showcased Live on the MLB Network

Baltimore, MD. (March 28, 2011) – Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE:UA) the Baltimore, MD-based leader in sports performance apparel, footwear and accessories, today announced that the 2011 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory, will be played at the historic Wrigley Field on Saturday, August 13. This marks the fourth-year of the Under Armour All-America Game.  The game will air live nationally on MLB Network at 2:00PM EDT.

Under Armour also unveiled the list of top national high school baseball prospects who have accepted invitations to participate in the 2011 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game.  The game will showcase thirty-six of the nation’s best rising juniors and seniors, competing in an American versus National match-up. The players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts.

The game itself is the culmination of a four-day baseball celebration, including a meet and greet with MLB Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr., a formal workout for MLB scouts, and a homerun derby to showcase their power strokes.

“Under Armour is proud to showcase the next generation of elite baseball athletes at the 2011 All-America Game,” said Matt Mirchin, Under Armour Senior Vice President, Sports Marketing. “Hosting these players at historic Wrigley Field and giving them the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the greatest players in baseball is an opportunity of a lifetime and Under Armour is thrilled to continue the tradition for the fourth year.”

“Baseball Factory scouts thousands of high school players worldwide before selecting the players that make the Under Armour All-America Game the premier high school baseball game in the nation,” said Steve Sclafani, CEO and Founder, Baseball Factory. “We are excited to join Under Armour again this year in showcasing these talented players at Wrigley Field and across the country on MLB Network.  Many of these players will go on to be selected in the first round of the 2012 amateur draft, and this is their opportunity to gain valuable exposure on the grandest scale.”

Over the past two years, 61 of the 72 players from the Under Armour All-America Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft including 12 first round picks.  Top players that went on to sign professional contracts include Donovan Tate (2009 No.3 overall pick, San Diego Padres); Zachary Wheeler (2009 No.6 overall pick, San Francisco Giants); Jacob Turner (2009 No.9 overall pick, Detroit Tigers); Tyler Matzek (2009 No.11 overall pick, Colorado Rockies); Jameson Taillon (2010 No.2 Overall Pick, Pittsburgh Pirates); Kellin Deglan (2010 No.22 overall pick, Texas Rangers). In addition, Matthew Purke (2009 No.14 overall pick, Texas Rangers) was selected in the first round but ultimately chose to attend Texas Christian University where he was 16-0 with a 3.02 ERA and 142 strikeouts in 116 innings pitched, and was named the Baseball America National Freshman of the Year.
