Baseball Factory Selects the Nation’s Top High School Baseball Players to Showcase Their Talents on August 16 at Wrigley Field in Chicago

Baltimore, Md. – Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE:UA) the Baltimore, MD-based leader in sports performance apparel, footwear and accessories, today announced the final roster for the 2014 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game, powered by Baseball Factory. The seventh annual high school showcase will be played at historic Wrigley Field on Saturday, August 16 at 6:05 p.m. CST, featuring 38 of the best high school players in the country. The game will air nationally on Sunday, August 17 at 7:00 p.m. CST on MLB Network.

Players will experience four days of festivities that begin on Wednesday, August 13 and culminate with the game on Saturday, August 16. This will mark the first time the annual summer showcase will be played under the lights at Wrigley Field, creating the ultimate Major League experience for the players and their fans. Since the game’s inception in 2008, 185 of the 208 draft eligible players from the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft, including 51 first round picks.

"The Under Armour All-America Baseball Game provides the nation's top high school baseball players with a premier experience and platform to showcase their skills and compete in a Major League environment," said Brian Cummings, Vice President, Team Sports, Under Armour. "We are excited to provide the future of baseball with the tools needed to push the game and perform at historic Wrigley Field as they strive to cement themselves as elite prospects."

The final players are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts, led by Steve Bernhardt, Executive VP at Baseball Factory and Chairman of the Under Armour All-America Game Selection Committee. Baseball Factory scouts thousands of high school players worldwide before selecting the athletes that make the Under Armour All-America Game.  Players are evaluated at events throughout the country, including the Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryouts, National Tournaments, National Showcases and National Teams.  In addition, players are reviewed at outside events that include high school games, tournaments and summer leagues. From more than 400,000 high school baseball players, only 38 elite athletes have earned distinction as Under Armour All-Americans in 2014.

"Our scouting network has been hard at work searching for the best high school players from across the globe,” said Bernhardt. “We have evaluated thousands of athletes, and as part of our search we have identified these additional prospects for the Under Armour All-America Game. These players have made a strong impression on our staff and we are very excited to add them to the list of talented players for this year's game at Wrigley Field."

The National team, managed by Major League veteran Sean Casey will play host to returning American team manager and MLB Network Emmy-nominated analyst, Bill Ripken. Below is the final roster of the 38 players who have committed to compete in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game:
