Bud Norris – Baseball Factory Success Story
Baseball Factory would like to congratulate former Exclusive player Bud Norris on his recent call up to the big leagues. Bud first got started with Baseball Factory seven years ago in August of 2002 at a B.A.T.S. College Recruiting Program (now called the S.C.R. Program). He went on to participate in the Exclusive College Recruiting Program, one-one-one lessons, four national team tournaments and the Baseball Factory All-American Tournament. After graduating from high school in 2003, Bud played his collegiate baseball at Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo, where he received a scholarship through assistance from the Baseball Factory Exclusive Program. Bud was selected by the Houston Astros in the sixth round of the 2006 draft after completing his junior year in college. He made his Major League debut on July 29 of this year and is currently 3-1 with a 4.05 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 26 2/3 innings pitched. We wish Bud continued success as he moves forward with his professional career.
Below is a testimonial from Bud’s parents submitted to Baseball Factory back in September of 2003:

Dear Baseball Factory,
We would like to thank you for your wonderful guidance and expertise. The Baseball Factory exceeded our expectations. Our son, Bud Norris was recruited through the BATS program in August 2002. During his video performance, we were asked to participate in the Baseball Factory Exclusive Program. We contacted other parents and players for their recommendations and decided this was what we needed to do for Bud.
We have gone on several trips/events and have met great baseball players and parents alike from across the country. Baseball is a world unto itself. Bud participated in one-on-one personal instruction for hitting and improved his skills.
Above all, the most impressive segment of our experience has come from the college recruiting process. Bud was contacted by many schools, and he knew what to say, how to act and what to ask when coaches called throughout the process based on what he learned from his college recruitment advisor at Baseball Factory. Not only did Bud receive excellent advice, often we were home when coaches called and we too knew how to communicate effectively with coaches, scouts and Sports Advisors.
Throughout all levels of this organization we have seen how they care for our son and his future in baseball. We couldn’t be more pleased with Bud’s placement and we thank the Baseball Factory whenever we can through our referrals and recommendations. Great job to one and all!
Suzi and Dave Norris
