Burtonsville Athletic Association and Baseball Factory Form Strategic Partnership
BURTONSVILLE, MD (October 19, 2012) – Burtonsville Athletic Association (BAA) announced today a strategic partnership with Baseball Factory that will provide area youth with new opportunities to develop their baseball skills and increase their success both on and off the field. The organizations will work together to provide both BAA players and coaches with instructional camps, baseball clinics, practice plans and showcases to supplement their experience with their local BAA team.
“We’re pleased to be teaming up with such a well-established and respected partner as Baseball Factory,” Chris Fogleman, President of BAA, said. “This relationship will allow us to further our goal of teaching the fundamentals of baseball, at an age-appropriate level, in a positive environment.”
“As an organization, Baseball Factory’s vision is to assist players in their skill development through world-class instruction,” said Jeff Brazier, Vice President of Youth Baseball. “This partnership with the Burtonsville Athletic Association will give us a tremendous opportunity to work with hundreds of players and coaches through a variety of events. We are extremely excited to get started and hope to have a significant impact.”
The partnership will kick off immediately with Baseball Factory facilitating all BAA travel team spring tryouts scheduled for Nov. 3rd & 4th at Columbia Park in Burtonsville, MD. Throughout the winter, Baseball Factory will hold clinics for travel team coaches and players as well as training for recreational league coaches. Personal training with Baseball Factory’s experienced coaches will be available to interested BAA players as well.
