Players to be Selected for Baseball Factory’s All American Team
On a quest for the nation’s top high school baseball players, Baseball Factory will be holding open tryouts for its Preseason All American team at designated ballparks across the country. Tryouts will be FREE to all players aged 14-18.
Top players will qualify to participate in the Baseball Factory Preseason All-American weekend at Dodgertown, the Spring Training Home of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Participants also have the opportunity to be selected to compete with Baseball Factory in the Arizona Fall Classic, Dodgertown Christmas Camp and Tournament and other prestigious events.
Former Baseball Factory Preseason All Americans include Delmon Young, this year’s first overall pick in the MLB draft, B.J Upton who was selected second overall in 2002 and Gavin Floyd who was selected fourth overall in 2001.
Tryouts will be run similar to a pro-style workout. Professional scouts and other Baseball Factory coaches will evaluate players on various aspects of the game including speed, defense, pitching, hitting, and arm strength.
Players will also receive valuable information on the college recruiting process. Baseball Factory professionals will address the college recruiting process and the steps players should take in order to increase their chances of playing college baseball and receiving scholarships. The Factory’s staff is eager to share their experience, knowledge, and connections within the baseball community with players and parents.
Baseball Factory, The Leader in Player Development and College Placement, Rated the #1 College Recruiting Service in the country by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association, recognizes only the most elite players as All Americans.
