Top FB, 60 Yds, Pop Times (Day One) – 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
This year’s Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament was the largest in history with 493 players attending the event, hailing from 45 different states, along with Canada and Puerto Rico. Not only were games and workouts held at the Spring Training Home of the Chicago Cubs – the event’s usual host site – but game play was also featured at a second location, Fitch Park, home of the Oakland Athletics, in Mesa, Arizona.
With a bigger field of prospects from across the country, the format for this year’s Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament called for sixteen teams to workout on Saturday, followed by the other sixteen teams on Sunday. As such, the top fastball velocities, 60 yard dashes, pop times, raw velocities and exit velocities shown below represent about half of the participating players in the event.
Similarly, we saw about half of the participating pitchers throw on Saturday — the teams that are scheduled to workout on Sunday played a double header on Saturday, while the teams that worked out Saturday will play a double header on Sunday.
