Come experience the excitement of 2019 MLB All-Star Week in Cleveland Ohio, training with Baseball Factory coaches and participating in special All-Star related activities! Players will attend the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 8th.

Top Notch Instruction from our team of coaches! Last year’s line-up included:

  • Carm Mazza – Mazza is the Head Baseball Coach at powerhouse American Heritage-Delray High School. In his 20 years at American Heritage, he has compiled over 400 wins, 11 district titles, four regional championships and four state appearances. He played his college baseball at Lynn University, and played in the independent Frontier League. Carm has worked with Baseball Factory since 2008, and has served as an Under Armour All-America Game Coach.
  • Mike Landis –Mike currently oversees the FDI Program at the Factory as the Director of Player Development. After playing collegiately at Montgomery College where he played in two JUCO World Series, Landis joined the Factory in 2012 and has helped to run events across the country such as Pirate City, Vero Beach, Cape Cod, as well as Little League and National Tryout events. He was the Assistant Head Coach and Recruiting Director at Hood College in Frederick, MD from 2014 to 2016 and the Head Coach at Seneca Valley High School in Maryland in 2014.
  • Rodney Spradlin – Rodney has coached and scouted with Baseball Factory for several years. He not only runs and coordinates Player Development events, but also helps to coordinate and run PREP & Tryout events in the southeast region. Rodney is a former Head Coach at William Byrd High School (Virginia) where he won a State Championship in 1997. He currently serves as the Pitching Coach at William Byrd. In addition, Rodney has been the Head Coach in the Virginia Commonwealth Games for over 20 years. He is also a former Associate Scout with the Kansas City Royals. He played his college ball at Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, TN.

  • Players will attend the 2019 Home Run Derby at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday, July 8th.

Top Notch Training

  • Players will work on hitting, defensive training, participate in simulated game play as well as go through individualized meetings with coaching staff on their game play while staying on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University.

*Please note: Itinerary listed is from 2018 All-Star Experience event in Washington, D.C. Information for 2019 event in Cleveland, OH will be posted as we get closer to the event.

Important Info:

  • *If traveling by plane, bats cannot be apart of your carry on luggage. They must be packed in checked luggage
  • Players will be roomed with other players attending the event at Baldwin Wallace University
  • All players will be provided with three meals a day, lodging and ground transportation. Airfare is NOT included in the registration fees
  • No spending money needed (However, players are responsible for any expenses during All-Star activities)
  • Players will receive an Under Armour jersey and hat
  • Players should bring all necessary baseball equipment for training: *bat, glove, cleats, turfs/sneakers, catching gear and any other position specific equipment
  • Players will be provided with complimentary water and Gatorade products throughout event
  • Players will receive online access to Baseball Factory’s Recruiting, Education and Development (R.E.D.) Manual
  • Players receive a detailed player info pack upon registration
  • Parents and guests are responsible for providing their own reservation, meals and transportation
