Big, strong righthander with broad shoulders and a thick lower half. He rocks back and fires from a deceptive ' slot. His fastball sits in the low 90s, touching higher, and gets on hitters quickly. He mixes in an 83 mph changeup and an 80-81 mph slider. He's a good athlete who ran the 60-yard dash in 6.6 seconds and could have played big-time football if he chose. Committed to Georgia Tech. Smelter was drafted in the 14th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins from Tattnal Square Academy in Macon, GA.

RHP with lean, athletic frame and a live arm. Delivery is easy, balanced and repeatable. He throws a FB that sits 90-92 and tops at 93 and mixes in a CB that is his out pitch with hard, downward bite. Locates his stuff well and shows an advanced feel for pitching. Adding a solid change would make him a top round consideration for teams. Smith was drafted in the 40th round by the Oakland Athletics in the 2010 MLB Draft from Roswell High School in Roswell, GA, but ended up playing three seasons for the University of North Carolina.

With a tall, lean and projectable body, Wahl sits 90-93 mph. It comes out of his hand easy leading us to believe that there is more in the tank. His FB has good plane to it and he likes to climb the ladder with his best fastball to put hitters away. He has a three-pitch mix, including a curveball with depth and changeup. Committed to Ole Miss, Wahl was drafted in the 5th round of the 2013 MLB Draft and made his major league debut on May 3, 2017.

Whitson has an ideal pitcher's frame and is a strong righty with a loose, live arm. He pounds the strike zone with a 90-96 mph fastball that requires little effort. He also throws a sharp slider at 78-81, giving him two above average offerings and making him one of the top pitchers in the 2010 class - a first round arm.
