One of the best all-around catchers in the class, Mike has the both the skills and the intangibles necessary for the demanding position behind the plate. He is an advanced receiver who sits easy, has strong hands and blocks well. His footwork, exchange, arm strength and accuracy all lead to outstanding release times to 2B and an ability to shut down the opponent's running game. Mike has a line drive stroke, using the whole field well and showing flashes of power, as he did with his grand slam during the UA AA Game at Wrigley Field.

Seth is a 2-time Under Armour All-American who has competed successfully on the big stage for several years. His strong frame and coordinated LH swing lead to hard contact to all fields. He flashes present power as well as an advanced feel to hit. Seth's athleticism shows in the OF where he reads and tracks balls well. Formerly one of the top young swimmers in the country, Seth is now one of the top baseball prospects in the country.

Bo has special bat speed and standout raw power not unlike his dad and older brother. He gets the bat through the zone with true blur bat speed, and the resulting contact with a wood bat was loud enough to win the UA AA HR Derby in impressive fashion. Defensively, he plays the game athletically and instinctually supporting his ability to remain in the middle infield, which would certainly max out his value based on his offensive prowess

Hunter has a unique skill set with an extremely high ceiling. His large frame provides leverage in his LH stroke where he shows power and a feel for the barrel. Add this power to his plus speed and body and you get an extremely desirable combination for scouts. Hunter is also an accomplished football player - spending time at QB and WR, and has a brother in the minor leagues. The centerfield profile with left-handed power gives him a chance to be a very special player.

    AJ Brown, OF

    Starkville, MS, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'2/217

AJ is just the 2nd athlete ever to play in both the Under Armour All-America Baseball and Football Games. He is a physical specimen who plays the OF in baseball and WR in football. He swings the bat with authority from the right side and is one of those special players who have the ball make a different sound off their bat. His WR speed and natural instincts allow him to play CF and the upside for AJ on the baseball diamond is tremendous.

Dylan is a physical young switch-hitter with an advanced hit tool and a high baseball IQ. He makes a good move from both sides of the plate and squares up quality pitching on a regular basis. He flashes power from both sides at present, with more to come in the future. Dylan is an outstanding defender at 1B with sure hands, quick feet and an excellent feel around the bag. He is a very good athlete who is also able to play the outfield. His high school coach is his father, giving some insight into the excellent instincts and feel for the game that Dylan has

    Gainesville, GA, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'3/220
    • High School: Gainesville
    • College Commitment: Louisiana State University (LSU)

Jonathan is an extremely strong young man with a lower half built for innings. He is athletic and employs a slower paced delivery that makes his low 90s fastball jump on hitters even more quickly. He is aggressive on the mound - challenging hitters with his fastball, and throwing it to both sides of the plate. He also mixes in a downer curveball with good spin that acts as an out pitch. All of his pitches come from the same slot with the same arm speed and are very effective.

    Hudson, NC, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'3/215

Rian gets better each time we see him and is one of the premium lefties in the 2016 class. He has a polished 3-pitch mix and throws all of them for strikes from a well-coordinated delivery. He hides the ball well and has confidence in all of his stuff. His breaking ball acts as his out-pitch with late bite, though his low 90s FB and fading change are quality offerings as well.

    Valrico, FL, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'1''/195

Austin fits a hard-to-find profile of a player with power that can stay at the shortstop position. He showcased his tools at this fall's Under Armour Baseball Factory Futures East where all of his actions on the field were easy and natural, with sure hands, quick feet and a strong, accurate arm across the diamond. At the plate his simple approach drives balls to the pull side and leaves very few holes for pitchers to attack. Austin is a player with huge upside.

    Parkland, FL, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'1/205

Jesus is one of the top pitchers in the 2016 class and he seems to prove that each time he takes the mound. He is a strike thrower from the left side who throws four pitches for strikes in any count. The lefty pitches comfortably in the low 90s with his fastball that he moves in and out. He throws 2 breaking balls - one in the mid 70s and his swing-and-miss variety that sits in the low 80s. Both have similar shape. Jesus also has a ton of confidence in his change that has similar arm speed to his FB and is very effective. He is in total control on the mound and pitches with a quiet confidence - truly a polished, complete pitcher.

Alek is a big, intimidating force on the mound with a quality 3-pitch mix. His fastball sits comfortably in the low 90s with some tailing action to it. His breaking ball has 3/4 tilt with some depth and he is confident enough to throw it in any count. Alek also mixes in a change that has potential. Overall, this is an athletic young man who is a high ceiling arm.

    Anthony Molina, RHP

    Pembroke Pines, FL, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'5/180

    • College Commitment:

Molina is a tall, lean RHP with long levers. The ball jumps out of his hand and he has outstanding late tailing life to his low 90s fastball. He repeats the delivery well and doesn't exert much effort to obtain his velocity. He complements the FB with a 3/4 tilt curveball that has good depth and bite. He has confidence in this offering and elicits quite a few swing-and-miss results from it. Anthony also mixes in a seldom-used change that has some fade to it. This is a guy whose arm whip and body point to even more velo in the future.

Delvin is a dynamic talent with an outstanding set of tools. He is a plus runner with a long, lean frame and outstanding defensive actions in the infield. His arm is also plus putting him in that rare category of high school shortstops that project to stay there at the highest level. His RH swing is loose and generates very good bat speed showing signs of his future power potential. Delvin is a complete player with an extremely high ceiling.

    Lenexa, KS, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'4''/192

    • College Commitment: Louisiana State University (LSU)

Riley is a dominant RHP who is at the top of the class of 2016 arms. He has an ideal pitcher's frame with long limbs and loose actions. He has a lightning quick arm that generates upper 90s velocity with late life to his fastball. He complements that with a sharp, biting breaking ball and a change with good tail/sink. When you include his excellent make-up, Riley checks all the boxes and should be selected very early in the 2016 MLB Draft.

    Norcross, GA, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'5/240

A big, physical LHP Graeme has an easy, low-effort delivery that he repeats well. His 3/4 arm slot is particularly tough on left-handed hitters and he does a very good job of finding that release point on all of his offerings. His FB gets into the low 90s and normally lives down at the bottom of the zone. His breaking ball is his out-pitch as it looks like his FB out of the hand and disappears at the plate. A change rounds out the repertoire for this upside LHP.

One of this year's underclassmen selected for the game, Alex owns one of the best hit/power combinations in the country regardless of grad year. His LH stroke is clean and quick with a knack for centering the ball and big power to all fields. Despite the HR ability he rarely strikes out and consistently puts together quality at bats against good pitching. At 1B Alex is natural with good hands and he even has enough athleticism to play the outfield.

Taylor is a dynamic athlete who can impact the game in several ways. He has game-changing speed that allows him to cover lots of ground in CF and put pressure on the defense as a hitter and base runner. His LH stroke has good barrel accuracy and shows flashes of power. An outstanding athlete, Taylor is also an accomplished football player.

Gregory is an athletic 2-way player with present strength and an extremely live arm. On the mound he uses a deliberate delivery and a deep arm stroke to generate mid 90s velocity in his heavy fastball. While he also mixes in a big breaking curve and a developing change, his FB is good enough to get most of his outs. As a position player Gregory has some strength in his LH swing and good defensive actions. Overall, the higher ceiling appears to be on the mound due his elite arm strength.

    San Antonio, TX, 2016
    • HT/WT: 6'7/230

Forrest is a true power arm with a big, physical frame. His combination of arm speed and leverage allows him to pitch in the mid 90s with excellent plane to his FB. He likes to live down in the zone, but has some feel for climbing the ladder at the right time and will pitch inside. His hard, downer curve is a true swing-and-miss pitch with late bite. He also shows a change comes out like his FB with similar arm speed and is an effective offering. Overall, Forrest has the look of the strong Texas RHP that we have become accustomed to seeing at the highest level.

Jordon is an outstanding athlete who oozes with high level tools. His plus speed allows him to easily patrol CF while his arm strength is plenty for any spot including RF. He has a quick RH stroke and the ball jumps off his bat. He has shown in-game power to all fields - driving balls out of parks to CF and RCF. The body, tools and ease with which this game comes to him has led to some comparisons to former UA AA Byron Buxton. Jordon has a chance to be a very special player.

    Carter Aldrete, SS

    Monterey, CA, 2016

Carter plays the game with an instinctual and natural approach, such that the game appears to come to him very easily. He shows a well-rounded set of tools in workouts, though his ability to apply those abilities to the game is what makes him special. His right-handed stroke features good rhythm and balance, and he shows the ability to make hard contact to all fields. Defensively, he moves his feet with quickness and shows the body control necessary to make plays off-balance and on the move. He instinctually picks good hops and is a very natural defender with a good internal clock. His combination of natural skill and instincts should come as no surprise considering his baseball bloodlines from his father Rich, and uncle, Mike.

He profiles as a corner outfielder who is a run producer at the next level.

Will is an outstanding athlete with an extra-large frame. His calling card is his huge left-handed power which especially stands out in a class that looks to be lacking in that tool. He put on an impressive display in the UA AA HR Derby qualifying round by pounding 11 HRs, some of which hit the building beyond the RF wall at UIC. The ball jumps off his bat despite a short, quick stroke and he shows an ability to make adjustments well. His speed and arm strength allow him to play all over the outfield. In fact, despite his size, he is one of the fastest players in the class. An accomplished basketball player as well, Benson is an elite prospect on the diamond.

Featuring one of the hardest combinations to find in the game, Thomas is a switch-hitting catcher. His thick, strong frame produces outstanding bat speed, resulting in power from both sides of the plate. He has a natural feel for the barrel that makes the power useable. As a defender, Thomas has a strong, accurate arm leading to times to 2B as low as 1.81 with throws that are on the bag. He is very athletic behind the plate and it shows up in his ability to react to balls in the dirt and in his receiving.

Garrett is a silky smooth athlete with an outstanding pitcher's frame. A talented 2-way player, he has concentrated mainly on pitching in the last year and has a high ceiling on the mound. His coordinated delivery includes a longer arm stroke that is on time and works well through release. He appears to have more velocity in him, though he climbs the ladder well with his FB now helping it to play up. He has good shape and bite to his breaking ball giving him two quality offerings.

Nick is a big, physical RHP with a fresh arm (MN native). His delivery is in sync, and though his arm stroke on the back side is slightly abbreviated, he is excellent through release into a full finish. His fastball has good life, and he looks to be a guy on the verge of a velocity jump. He has confidence in his curveball as well that has 11-5 shape and tight rotation. Although scouts will get limited spring looks at Nick, look for him to raise his stock.

Brendan is a wiry RHP with a rhythmic delivery. He has a long arm stroke that helps him generate the arm speed necessary to get his fastball into the low 90s. There is some late life to the FB and he complements it with a breaking ball that has 11-5 shape. There is some effort in the delivery, but the quick arm and competitiveness have the arrow pointing up for Brendan.

Travis made quick work of the opposing hitters in his inning at the UA All-America Game. As is usually the case, he pounded the strike zone with his upper 80s fastball and used his sharp breaking ball to finish off hitters. He pitches to both sides of the plate and has excellent feel for all of his stuff-though he didn't even need to use his excellent change-up during this outing. Travis is always in control on the mound, is young for his grade, has a potential out-pitch and is left-handed - quite a combination. The future looks bright for this young arm.

Despite the strength, he is extremely flexible allowing him to sit well to receive with his firm, sure hands. He blocks well and throws as well to 2B as anyone in the class - as low as 1.75. His present strength leads to good bat speed and raw power that also translates into game play. His athleticism allows him to be a solid defender at 1B and he also has the versatility to play LF. His speed and strength are evident on the diamond and he has the ability to change the game at the plate, in the field and on the bases. At the plate he has good barrel accuracy and surprising pop that will continue to become more frequent with maturity. His best pitch is his hard breaking ball that has tight rotation and late downward bite - acting as a swing-and-miss pitch. Mitchell is a LHP with an excellent 3-pitch mix and an extremely high ceiling. His thin 6'5" frame works well throughout his up-tempo delivery and his arm is loose and free. He runs his FB into the low 90s now and it is easy to envision him throwing harder in the near future. There is some deception in the delivery and he throws a true curveball and change to round out his offerings. Drawing comps to Chris Sale, Mitchell is one of the top LHPs in the 2016 class.

    • HT/WT: 6'6/220
    • High School: Jesuit College Prep
    • College Commitment: University of Texas - Austin

Kyle is a LHP with an extra large frame and long limbs. He is extremely athletic and has a coordinated, fluid delivery. His over the top slot allows him to get good downhill plane on his fastball that sits most comfortably in the upper 80s. He mixed in a sweeping curve as well. Kyle has a ton of potential and is just scratching the surface of his abilities on the mound.

    • HT/WT: 6'4/187
    • High School: Mceachern
    • College Commitment: Auburn University

Alex is an athletic RHP with a coordinated delivery and quick, clean arm action. His high 3/4 slot gets downhill plane on his mid 90s fastball. He also has feel for his breaking ball which has hard 2-plane break and a developing change that he rarely needs to use. Overall, this a huge upside arm that should attract attention early in the 2016 draft.

Colton is a talented all-around player who can flat out hit. He has an outstanding knack for finding the barrel in games and reacts as well to off-speed stuff as any high school hitter in the country. He has strong hands and uses the whole field well. As a defender, Colton can play all of the infield spots with smooth actions, sure hands and online carry to his throws. He plays with maturity and a quiet confidence.

Joey is a long, lean young player with a pretty left-handed stroke. His swing is easy and clean and generates excellent leverage leading to some present power with much more on the horizon. He has a knack for finding the barrel and has natural hitter actions. Defensively, he moves well around the bag, has soft hands and provides a good target. He is also capable of running his fastball up to 90 on the mound with good downhill plane.
