Under Armour Futures West Additional Notes
Here are more standout performers from the Under Armour Futures West event. (College commits are listed within parentheses.)
- Randall Abshier (University of Arizona Commit) – Tall, lean LHP with a clean arm stroke and an easy, low-effort delivery. Fastball up to 89 mph with life.

Grant Burton (Stanford)– Physical outfielder with an intriguing combination of speed (6.75), arm strength (88 mph) and power. Uses the whole field and plays hard.
- Chandler Champlain (USC) – 6’4” RHP with a quality combination of an upper 80s fastball that gets on hitters quickly and a curve ball with good depth. Strike thrower with a high ceiling.
- Cole Dale (UCLA) – 2019 RHP with an athletic delivery and a quick arm. Topped at 89 and has more in the tank.
- Brandon Dieter (Stanford)– Polished SS with sure hands who plays low in the IF. RH stroke is good through contact with solid head discipline.
- Ryan Holgate (Cal) – LHH with power to the pull side. Complete player who reads balls well in the OF and has a strong, accurate arm.

Matthew Liberatore (Arizona) – Impressive LHP with a solid build (6’4”/200) and outstanding stuff. FB was up to 90 with tail and curve has tight rotation and bite. Huge upside.
- Kingston Liniak (San Diego) – Athletic and physical OF with an intriguing set of tools. Runs well (6.78) and went 2-for-4 in the game with a deep double to the wall in LF.
- Joe Magrisi (San Diego St) – Talented 2-way performer with upside both as a pitcher and position player. Strike thrower on the mound and a strong, coordinated swing as a hitter.

Matt McLain (UCLA) – Quick twitch athlete who ran a 6.58-60 and showed 96 mph arm strength. Solid defender at SS with good range – also doubled in game play.
- Clay Owens (USC) – Upside prospect with present strength and a simple LH stroke. An athletic (6.95) player with versatility, he threw a 1.95 to second and can play either corner IF spot.
- Blake Peyton (Arizona) – Three-pitch lefty who comes at hitters from a ¾ arm slot. Everything he throws moves – upper 80s FB has tailing action, change has sink and fade, and breaking ball has 2-plane break.
- Emilio Rosas (Cal) – Advanced, smooth defender who is light on his feet at SS with plus arm strength (94 mph). Natural rhythm at the plate in his RH swing.
- Vinny Tosti (Oregon) – An explosive athlete with excellent tools (6.58 in the 60, 88 mph arm strength, raw pull power) that translate to game play. Went 2-for-3 with a double after an impressive BP and OF workout.
- Patrick Wicklander (Dallas Baptist) – LHP with a clean arm, repeatable delivery and some deception. Fastball touched 90 and was complemented by a slurve and advanced change.
