Baseball Factory joins the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum team as an Official Education Outreach Partner

Baseball Factory joins the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum team as an official education outreach partner COOPERSTOWN, NY (February 19, 2014) – The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has named Baseball Factory as an Official Education Outreach Partner. Baseball Factory will be supporting the Hall of Fame’s award-winning educational programs and will provide patrons of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum with opportunities to participate in Baseball Factory programs, including player instruction, player development and educational assistance in college recruiting.

“Being named as an Official Education Outreach Partner for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a great honor,” said Steve Sclafani, Baseball Factory CEO and Founder. “We are excited to help Museum patrons by serving as both a player development and college recruiting educator.”

Opened in 1939, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in historic Cooperstown, N.Y., is surely the country’s most well-known sports shrine. The fully handicap-accessible Museum features three floors of captivating exhibits, including the iconic Plaque Gallery. Self-guided tours thrill visitors with the compelling story of the National Pastime.

Baseball Factory is widely recognized as the top, hands-on player development and promotional service in the United States. Over 3,500 players from Baseball Factory have been selected in the amateur draft, with over 350 of those players going on to the Major Leagues. In addition, Baseball Factory has assisted players in obtaining over $1 billion in scholarships and over 50,000 of their players have gone on to compete at the college level. The company holds more than 600 baseball camps, clinics, showcases and tournaments each year.

In addition to educational assistance, Baseball Factory will provide professional scouting reports and video footage of program alumni for use both online and in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

About National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
Open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Museum observes regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. From Memorial Day through the day before Labor Day, the Museum is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. seven days a week. Ticket prices are $19.50 for adults (13 and over), $12 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $7 for juniors (ages 7-12).
