Baseball Factory Scouting Consultant, Mike Toomey named to Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame
Baseball Factory scouting consultant Mike Toomey has been honored with another award for his services over the years as an outstanding professional baseball scout. Toomey, who signed on to be a Scouting Consultant for Baseball Factory in 2006, was inducted into The Goldklang Group's Professional Baseball Scouts Hall of Fame along with three others on May 20. In addition to his position with Baseball Factory, Toomey is currently a special assistant to Dayton Moore, general manager of the Kansas City Royals. Toomey has also worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers and New York Mets over his extensive career which also included Major League Baseball Scout of the Year honors in 1992. Baseball Factory would like to congratulate Mike Toomey on his Scouts Hall of Fame induction.
