With a workhorse body and an electric arm, it is easy to envision Kumar as a front-of-the-rotation pitcher at the highest level down the road. In the meantime, he uses his mid-90s fastball with tailing life along with his ¾ tilt breaking ball and change to dominate high school hitters. His athletic delivery is balanced and repeatable and his clean, quick arm works through with limited effort. Kumar plans to take his electric stuff to Vanderbilt.
