Top 60 Yard Dashes – 2016 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament

2019 OF Sajon Belser

It’s important to look at run times (and really all measurables for that matter) within the context of age and/or graduating class. In other words, sub-seven 60 yard dashes are not commonly seen from 2019 graduates. As of the most recent compilation of 60 yard dash data, 87 players posted run times of at least 7.25, with only 15 checking in at 6.99 or faster. Four players from that sub-seven group were on hand in Auburndale, along with one more previously at 7.00.

2019 SS/OF Austin Roccaforte (Tomball, TX) ran 6.88 at the June 2015 Under Armour Baseball Factory College PREP in Tomball, TX, just ahead the 6.90 posted by 2019 OF/3B Bryson Kemp (Magnolia, TX) one year ago at the 2015 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. A couple of months ago at the Under Armour Baseball Factory College PREP in Pearland, TX, 2019 OF Benjamin Greer (Pearland, TX) ran 6.96, while 2019 SS/OF Cameron Walker (Canonsburg, PA) posted 7.00 at the 2015 Arizona Freshman/Sophomore Fall Classic.

2019 OF Sajon Belser (Ashburn, VA) posted the lone sub-seven time at this event, followed by Roccaforte, Walker and Greer in the low 7.0 range. One year ago, at the 2015 Pre-Season Rookie Tournament, Belser ran 7.18.
