TrackMan Baseball: The Official Tracking Technology for Baseball Factory
Baseball Factory is proud to announce that TrackMan Baseball has signed on as the “Official Tracking Technology for 2021-2023 Baseball Factory Events.”
In a partnership that can easily be described as Game-Changing-Technology meets Expert-Instruction-and-Player-Development, it’s the Factory Athletic Players and members that will see the true value of this partnership.
“Our focus at Baseball Factory is developing the player, and the ability for players to get all of the information on how the ball reacts off the bat or out of the hand is an important piece of that development. Partnering with TrackMan Baseball is such a natural fit, and we’re excited for what’s in store,” Steve Sclafani, CEO of Baseball Factory, said.
The TrackMan Baseball System measures the full trajectory and spin rate of pitched and batted baseballs/softballs via a “High Speed Optics” camera that can provides 1,000 frames per second. This not only translates to a large quantity of data being collected from behind the mound but also high quality of data that can easily be communicated to the player during instruction.
“TrackMan’s real-time, accurate data has been invaluable for our players. The technology further enhances all of our events, providing metrics we cannot see with the naked eye, to provide evidence and moments to better market the success of our athletes,” Mike Landis, Director of Operations and Player Development further explained.
Impressively, TrackMan Baseball is used for player evaluation and development by all major league and minor league teams in the United States. This molds well with Baseball Factory’s goal and current statistic: each division I and division II college baseball team has a Baseball Factory Alumni on the roster.
