Players that have been selected will have the opportunity to train with our experienced, top-notch staff during this four day event which combines daily training with competitive tournament game play. Learn from the best coaches in the country at a great Arizona facility! This event is invitation-only.

Players Receive:

Four Days of Intense Training and Competition with Professional Coaches

  • Training and game play will take place from morning till night
  • Play competitive games in search of the Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic Championship
  • Test your skills against some of your most talented peers from across the country

Position-Specific Drills through One-on-One Instruction

  • Work with our professional instructors on all aspects of your game
  • Receive instruction on hitting, fielding, pitching, catching and base running
  • Our coaches will develop a personalized game plan for future success

Updated Baseball Factory Player Page

  • Your web page will be updated with a new written evaluation based on your performance at the Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic
  • Share your player web page with family, friends, and coaches

Corrective Videos

  • Receive corrective videos targeted specifically for you to continue your development after the event
  • Improve your skills by reviewing video instruction and other written content as created by our baseball training staff

Confirmed Event Staff Includes:

Khareth Bartee: Khareth is a native of Omaha, NE. He attended Iowa Western Community College and graduated from Creighton University. In 2000, he was an All-Region XI Second Team player and signed with the Kansas City Royals. He now works with Baseball Factory at various Player Development Camps across the country.

Jon Chastine: Jon has been with the Factory since 2013. He helps with regional tryouts, player development events, and with our Under Armour National Tournament Division. He played college baseball at Cal Baptist University in Riverside, CA. He served at Bethesda University as an infield coach for two years and is currently the head coach at Vista Del Lago High School.

Mike Surina: Michael played his college baseball at Chaffey Community College for two years and the University of La Verne for two years. At La Verne, he was two-time First-Team All-Conference and All-Region honors in his senior year. Michael played two seasons of Independent Minor League baseball for the Tijuana Cimarrones and Yuma Scorpions in the Golden League and Fort Worth Cats of the American Association Baseball League. He is now the head baseball coach at Chino High School in Chino, California.

Important Event Info:

  • Players will be roomed with their parent/guardian. One hotel room (two beds) will be provided for player and parent/guardian
  • Players are transported in charter buses/vans from site to site
  • Players receive a Baseball Factory shirt and hat
  • Players will be provided with three meals per day
  • Players are provided Gatorade and water throughout the event
  • Players may bring spending money for souvenirs and/or extra snacks
  • Players will receive online access to Baseball Factory’s Academic, Baseball & Character (ABC) Manual
  • Parent(s) required to attend (Parents and guests are responsible for providing their own reservation, meals and transportation)
