2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament: 2015 Grad Honorable Mentions

With over 390 players participating in the 2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament, powered by Baseball Factory, our scouts were treated to players from across the country that had many tools from blistering foot speed, to rockets for arms on the mound and behind the plate. While we cannot honor everyone that attended we did want to highlight a few players that stood out.

The following are the 2015 Grads Honorable Mentions from the 2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament.

Nick Anderson | SS/OF | Sugar Land, TX | Kempner
Nick is a strong young man with a sound right-handed swing. The ball comes off this athlete’s bat loudly.

Danny Casals | SS/2B | Miami, FL | Southwest
Danny is a polished defender with a short, simple swing. He has a feel for the game and plays it the right way.

Trenton Clark | OF | Fort Woth, TX | Richland
Clark is a LHH with present strength that generates a lot of bat speed. His ability to run allows him to play all 3 OF spots.

Kody Clemens | 2B/OF | Houston, TX | Memorial
Kody has a quick LH stroke that results in consistent barrel contact. He projects as an offensive 2B who can beat you in many ways.

Danny Corvino | SS | Bethlehem, PA | Freedom
Corvino has solid tools across the board highlighted by an aggressive right-handed swing. He has the look of a future run producer.

Harley Davidson | SS | Danielsville, PA | Northhampton
Harley is a switch-hitting middle infielder with some life in his body. He is a quality defender, aggressive on the bases and plays instinctually.

Niko Decolati | SS/3B | Las Vegas, NV | Cimarron Memorial
Niko has a pretty RH stroke with good extension and the ability to center the ball. Defensively he patrols SS with sure, quiet hands.

Jordan Greene | SS/2B | Charlotte, NC | Charlotte Country Day
Jordan has a disciplined approach at the plate and always seems to be on base. He has active feet defensively and could be a top-of-the-order 2B in the future.

William Hancock | C | Little Rock, AR | Little Rock Catholic

William has a lot to like – a LH hitting catcher with a quick, level path, sub 2.0 times to 2B and an advanced feel for receiving and blocking.

Cole Heavilin | SS | Vista, CA | Rancho Buena Vista
Cole is a high energy player that makes guys around him better. He plays hard and showcases his sure hands and arm strength at SS while squaring up a lot of balls at the plate.

Trenton McGhee | 3B/SS | Jacksonville, FL | The Bolles School
McGhee is an athletic young man who runs well and swings the bat with authority. His strong, level stroke is quick and effective and he is a dependable infielder best suited for 2B.

Shane Nobiensky | C/RHP | La Mesa, CA | Helix Charter
Shane brings an attractive set of tools to the table as a switch-hitting catcher with some juice and arm strength. Solid as a receiver, he is an athletic leader behind the dish.

Nicholas Perez | SS/3B | Austin, TX | Stephen F. Austin
Perez has a great feel for the barrel – one of those guys with a knack for hitting. He also is a dependable infielder with instincts and athleticism.

Dylon Poncho | SS/RHP | Elton, LA | Kinder
Dylon is a versatile, high energy player. He has life in his body and good actions at SS to go with an aggressive right-handed swing at the plate…also low 80s on the mound.

Alex Salcido | C | El Paso, TX | Americas
Alex is a polished catcher with solid tools across the board. He has a level stroke at the plate, a very accurate arm and the ability to handle a pitching staff.

Andy Savard | C | Tyngsborough, MA | Tyngsborough
Andy is an outstanding defensive catcher with a strong, accurate arm, sure hands and the ability to block balls in the dirt. He is also the take-charge leader you look for in a catcher.

Alex Shaver | OF | Sugar Land, TX | George Ranch
Alex has a slash and dash LH stroke with game changing speed (6.5 in the 60). He has a chance to impact game on both sides of the ball.

Jacob Silverstein | OF | Seminole, FL | Seminole

Silverstein is an excellent runner (6.88 in the 60) with a wiry frame and arm strength from the outfield. His LH stroke is quick and level shooting line drives to all fields.

Jesse Wilkening | C | Cedar Lake, IN | Hanover Central
Jesse is an athletic catcher with quick twitch actions. He ran a 6.9 60, had a low time to 2B of 1.84 and showed quick hands at the plate.

Grady Wright | 1B/3B | Fayetteville, TN | Lincoln County
Wright is a big, strong 1B who can flat out hit. He has a disciplined approach and his LH stroke is short , quick and powerful with natural loft.
