2015 Under Armour All-America Game Recap: Innings 4-6

It was time for the pitchers to dominate the middle frames of the All-America Game.

In the fourth inning, both teams traded scoreless innings as National team pitcher Jesus Luzardo relieved Gregory Veliz in the third and worked a scoreless 1 1/3 innings, allowing zero hits, zero walks and one strikeout.

Graeme Stinson from Norcross HS in Georgia, an Under Armour Pre-Season All-American this year, pitched a scoreless top of the fifth for the National team, striking out two batters.

After three walks in the bottom of the fifth inning, the National Team took the lead on a wild pitch and two errors, clearing the bases to take a 5-4 lead. Austin James, Taylor Trammel and Delvin Perez scored runs that inning. Bo Bichette capped the inning with a triple to right field but was stranded.

In the top of the sixth, the American Team tied the game at 5 with an RBI single from Colton Welker, scoring Jordon Adell who walked and stole second.

Trammel recorded walks in back-to-back innings in the 5th and 6th innings and has been on base four times this afternoon out of the leadoff spot. Bichette was hit by a pitch to give the National team a 6-5 lead.

After six innings, the National Team lead the American Team, 7-5.
