It has been a pleasure to help to develop Jonathan French into an Under Armour All-American. His Road to Wrigley began at a Baseball Factory event the summer after his 6th grade school year. He showed promise at that time, and attended the Baseball Factory Winter Classic before being selected as an Under Armour BF Pre-Season All-American. After an impressive performance there and at the UA BF South Showcase in June, Jonathan was selected to make the trip to Wrigley Field.

A leader on the field, Jonathan is an ideal catching prospect with a strong, durable frame and solid receiving and blocking skills. He also shows a strong and accurate arm behind the plate. As a hitter, Jonathan has a natural, rhythmic stroke with barrel accuracy and leverage power to the pull side. A complete all-around catching prospect, he should be fun to watch.
