Logan’s combination of tools and projection is hard to find. The Texas A&M commit stands at 6’4” and weighs 210 pounds. He is strong and athletic at present, and his frame can easily handle even more muscle in the future.
His loud tools include some of the highest measurables we have seen in the 2019 class. At the Under Armour Baseball Factory All-American Pre-Season Tournament in January, he recorded a triple-digit exit velocity of 100 mph and added an impressive raw arm strength of 96 mph. In addition, Logan ran a 6.52 in the 60-yard dash at last summer’s Under Armour Baseball Factory National Showcase in Texas.
As a hitter, the ball makes a different sound off of Logan’s bat. The contact is loud and the combination of bat speed and natural leverage leads to present power with even more on the horizon. A complete all-around player who can play all three outfield spots and do damage with the bat, Logan will be exciting to watch at Wrigley Field in this summer’s Under Armour All-America Game.
