Riley Cornelio follows an excellent group of former Under Armour All-Americans hailing from the state of Colorado. Most notably, two comparable RHPs – Kevin Gausman and recent 1st round pick, Cole Winn.

Riley has an excellent pitcher’s frame and features an athletic, flexible delivery with good finish to all of his offerings. His fastball sits comfortably in the low 90s with good plane, and he spins his breaking ball well with good shape and depth.

Riley also shows good feel for his changeup that he throws with good arm speed to round out his three-pitch arsenal. He likes to compete, so look for Riley to challenge hitters at Wrigley Field.
