Tyler Callihan has spent this spring and summer cementing his reputation as one of the top hitters in the 2019 class. His left-handed swing is quick and efficient and he has the ability to drive balls with authority to all parts of the park. Tyler puts on an impressive display in batting practice with consistent hard contact, and he carries it over to games. He recognizes and reacts well to pitches, squaring up both velocity and off-speed stuff to do damage when it counts.

Defensively, Tyler is sure-handed at 3B with plenty of arm across the diamond. He is dependable at either corner IF spot with good instincts. Overall, this is a left-handed hitter who is a run-producer that will hit in the middle of the lineup at the next level.
