2022 Baseball Factory All-America Game powered by Under Armour Announcement

Columbia, MD (June 8, 2022) – Baseball Factory announced today that the 2022 Baseball Factory All-America Game, powered by Under Armour will return to Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals, for a second consecutive year. The prestigious event, featuring the top 40 high school players, will take place on August 16th.

“We are excited to have our Baseball Factory All-Americans return to Kansas City to compete in the 2022 Baseball Factory All-America Game,” said Baseball Factory CEO Steve Sclafani. “We appreciate GM Dayton Moore and the rest of the Royals staff for hosting this again, and we know this will be an amazing experience for all of the players and their families.”

“The Baseball Factory has helped countless players through the years and they represent everything that is good about our game,” said Dayton Moore, Royals Executive Vice President/General Manager. “The Kansas City Royals are proud to host this very special event for the players and their families.”

Baseball Factory All-Americans are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts and will compete in an American vs National team match-up. In addition to the game, players will participate in a workout, a Home Run Derby, and other events as part of the All-America experience.

Each year players from the Baseball Factory All-America Game continue to make an impact at the Major League level and appear at the top of each year’s MLB Draft. Players such as George Springer, Anthony Rizzo, Nick Castellanos, Jo Adell, Bobby Witt, Jr, Hunter Greene and many others have worn the Factory All-American jersey before their success at the professional level. Since the game’s inception, more than 100 Baseball Factory All-Americans overall have been 1st round picks. Alums selected in the 1st round of the latest MLB Draft included: Jack Leiter, Marcelo Mayer, Jordan Lawlar, Benny Montgomery, Kumar Rocker, Harry Ford, Andy Painter, Kahlil Watson and Chase Petty.
