With over 400 players participating in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament, powered by Baseball Factory, our scouts were treated to players from across the country that had many tools from blistering foot speed, to rockets for arms on the mound and behind the plate. While we cannot honor everyone that attended we did want to highlight a few players that stood out.

The following are the 2016 Grads Honorable Mentions from the 2014 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament.

Branson Audette | C | Lafayette, LA | Lafayette
Sought-after LH hitting catcher with power who has rhythm and feel to hit. He showed power by driving a 3B over the head of the center fielder. Also solid behind the dish with strong hands and a quick exchange.

Justin Cancel | 3B | Seaford, NY | St. Dominic's
Strong young player who has a solid LH swing that generates serious power. The ball comes off his bat hard and loud. Sure hands and the ability to stay at 3B defensively.

Davis Daniel | RHP/SS | Pike Road, AL | Saint James School
Athletic 2-way player who has easy mid 80s velocity on the mound with a sharp breaking ball and good command. Also drops down to submarine arm angle at times. Solid defensive SS who can swing the bat as well.

Andrew Davis | RHP | Frisco, TX | Frisco Wakeland
Solid 6’2” pitcher’s frame with a clean arm and 3-pitch mix. Sits in the mid 80s with his fastball and is around the plate with all his offerings. Has a real feel to pitch with more velocity in the tank.

Jackson Greer | C | Knoxville, TN | Knoxville Central
Excellent catch-and-throw guy with accurate times to 2B as low as 1.93. Quiet, capable receiver with good hands and solid on balls in the dirt. Has a sound offensive approach with a level path.

Luke Price | OF | Russellville, AR | Dover
Strong, physical young player with some tools. Covers ground in the OF thanks to his speed (6.82 in the 60). RH stroke generates bat speed and the ball explodes off the bat. Also has feel for the strike zone.

Brian Rey | SS | Deltona, FL | Deltona
Live-bodied athlete who does everything on the field well. He takes good routes, has soft hands and makes all the plays at SS. At the plate he uses the whole field well and shows surprising pop. Also has a high baseball IQ as evidenced by the way he runs the bases.

Matt Tarabek | SS | Irwin, PA | Hempfield Area
Athletic, aggressive young player who plays with great energy. Quick first step at SS, proper angles and soft hands allow him to make plays look easy. He has rhythm and feel to hit and uses the entire field well. A polished all-around player.

Jordan Williams | OF | Peoria, AZ | Kellis
Strong, athletic player with huge upside. Aggressive swing generates serious bat speed and will lead to future power. Tracks balls well in the OF and glides easily to make plays. This is an exciting young player with a bright future.

Paul Witt | SS | Harpers Ferry, WV | Jefferson
Quick twitch athlete with a complete game. Quick hands at the plate with a level path and the ability to find the barrel. As a defender he is dependable, good around the bag and aggressive with solid baseball instincts.
