Stars of Tomorrow Ready to Shine at All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament
Spring is right around the corner, and very soon the crack of the bat and the pop of a ball into a mitt will fill the air.
That time is now.
Baseball Factory’s All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament, powered by Under Armour, featuring future talent from around the country, descends on Auburndale, Florida this weekend to compete in a first class event showcasing their elite skill sets.
The Lake Myrtle Sports Complex will be abuzz with players selected to compete in the tournament based on their strong performance at a previous Baseball Factory event or nomination by a professional scout. Because of these strong performances, thousands of players from across America have been discovered at our tryouts.
75 of the most talented players from around the country, making up 21 different states, will get the opportunity to have their own player page, complete with a professionally edited video from the event and an evaluation from a pro scout.
Finding the best talent in the country is no easy task and the Pre-Season Rookie Tournament has been a starting point for many successful major league stars who got their break at this event.
New York Mets third baseman David Wright and Atlanta Braves outfielder B.J. Upton were both selected as Pre-Season All-Americans in 2001.
For the players participating this weekend, this dream is now becoming a reality. They have worked hard to get to this position and it all started with a tryout.
We congratulate them and wish them good luck this weekend and in the future!
