Important Travel Information (with a parent)

Parents and guests are welcome to attend. Parents with players 14 years and older are not required to attend. While Phoenix (PHX) is the closest and most convenient airport, players traveling with a parent/guardian can fly into any airport they wish. Parents are responsible for their own ground transportation.

Players who are traveling with parents should meet at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa between the hours of 6pm-8pm on Friday, January 15th for check-in. Please note that for players traveling with a parent/guardian, it is usually quicker and more convenient for your son to travel with you to the hotel rather than waiting for the Baseball Factory shuttle.

Important Travel Information (without a parent)

Please note that we will only provide ground transportation to/from the airport to players traveling alone and who arrive and depart on the travel days, travel times, and at the airports listed below. If you cannot find a flight that arrives/departs within the recommended times below, please contact Danielle Bush ([email protected] or 855.822.5115 ext.154 (toll free) . We will do our best to accommodate you based on flights.

A Baseball Factory representative will meet players traveling alone at their flight’s baggage claim. In the days prior to the event, you will receive an email that will include the name and cell phone number of Baseball Factory’s main point of contact for the event. This will be the person in charge of all airport pick- ups. If you have any questions prior to receiving this email, please contact Danielle Bush at [email protected]. Baseball Factory is only responsible for the player once a Baseball Factory representative meets the player at baggage claim.

Arrival

Recommended arrival times below are primarily intended for players traveling alone. However, these also work for players traveling with parent / guardian.

PLEASE NOTE that players traveling alone will be met by Baseball Factory staff at baggage claim and then transported to the event site, while players traveling with parent / guardian are responsible for transportation all the way to the event site.

Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)
Friday, January 15 – arrival between 5:00pm and 8:00pm

Departure

Recommended departure times below are primarily intended for players traveling alone. However, these also work for players traveling with parent / guardian.

PLEASE NOTE that players traveling alone will be met transported from the event site to the airport, while players traveling with parent / guardian are responsible for transportation from the event site to the airport.

Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)
Monday, January 18 – departure after 4:00pm

Baggage and Other Fees

Baseball Factory is not responsible for additional fees required for air travel such as baggage fees. Parents should inquire with the airline to pre-pay for all baggage fees. With the mounting fees and amount of players traveling alone, our staff will be unable to cover these costs for players at the airport. Please be sure your son has enough cash with him to cover these expenses or contact your airline to pre-pay if possible.
