The Baseball Factory first and foremost is a Player Development company dedicated to helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.

We believe in giving players and parents a realistic evaluation – at the Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout – of where they stand nationwide BEFORE doing any of our high-level Player Development, National Tournaments, Team events or Showcases. That just plain makes sense to us. It’s not fair to anyone to just accept players into a national event without having seen and evaluated them.

Our philosophy and the way we conduct our business over the past 25 years is simply different than what’s offered in the industry. We want to educate parents that it’s not about the number of games you play, but, instead, it’s about receiving world class instruction, proper athletic development, mentoring and then competing against top competition when you are ready.

The philosophy of jamming in as many showcases, games and camps with no game plan is counter to what we believe in at the Factory. Seeing truly where you stand nationwide amongst your peers and working with our mentors and coaches on a road map to achieve your ultimate goal is why people choose the Factory and take the first step at either an Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout or Under Armour Baseball Factory College Prep Program.

In addition, all of our Player Development events are uniquely designed to give players a true-life experience where they learn to be accountable and receive the type of instruction and information that changes their trajectory for the better.

Furthermore, we believe in kids playing multiple sports to develop their full athletic ability and frankly get a mental break from their “primary” sport.  Does that mean kids can’t improve and do some training on an all year round basis – absolutely not, but it does mean that kids need a break from the pressure filled competitive games if they really want to take a “step back” and make mechanical and/or mental adjustments so they can leap forward.

We support the MLB Pitch Smart Program and in fact are even a bit more conservative at times especially at the younger ages with additional rest between pitching. At our events, we are always talking with both the player and parent about arm maintenance, pitch counts, etc.

While we have been very successful in developing talent and our players have gone on to play both college baseball and pro baseball at an astounding rate, people are sometimes confused with who we are and what we do.

Bottom line is the Factory truly cares about each and every player who goes through our program and we follow through for players like it’s our own child. We started this company because we knew there was a better way to help kids develop and enjoy playing the game at their highest level.
