Players ran the 60 yard dash as part of their workout rotation (along with batting practice, defensive workout and athletic testing) on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on the schedule for their team. We saw half of the players run Saturday, followed by the other half on Sunday. We ran on a well-manicured grass surface, and timed runners by hand on multiple watches.

Among 2016 graduates, we saw 21 players run sub-seven 60 yard dashes, while there were 48 such times posted by players in the class of 2017. Eleven 2018 graduates came in below 7.00, with another twelve between 7.00 and 7.15.
