Two of First Three 2015 MLB Draft Selections are Baseball Factory Alumni

The first round of the 2015 MLB Draft provided plenty of intrigue as shortstops were selected 1-2-3 to begin the three-day event, and two of the three are Baseball Factory alumni. In total, 15 Baseball Factory players were selected in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft. 31 of the first 75 players drafted have participated in an Under Armour Baseball Factory event.

Alex Bregman, the right-handed hitting shortstop from LSU went No. 2 overall to the Houston Astros, followed by Brendan Rodgers, a power-hitting prospect from Lake Mary High School in Florida, going No. 3 to the Colorado Rockies.

Rodgers got his Under Armour Baseball Factory start being named to the 2013 Under Armour Futures Series East event in Jupiter, FL, followed by his appearance in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game.

The Astros then selected 2014 Under Armour All-American, Kyle Tucker with the fifth pick overall, taking two of the best players at their positions in the country. Tucker an OF from H.B. Plant High School in Florida. Tucker led his team in his senior season with a .407 average, eight homers and 21 RBI in 23 games.
