2021 Outfield Prospects From The 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
We continue our look at the sophomore class of athletes who attended the 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. This list of interesting 2021 grads features a mix of Division I commits, but also eight athletes who are currently uncommitted.
Joshua Algarin | OF | 5’8”/135 | L/L | The King’s Academy (CA) | Uncommitted
A burner (6.62 in the 60) with a compact left-handed stroke, Joshua showed well in Arizona. He was on base several times in games, stole three bases and showed a good overall feel for the game.
Gavin Baldwin | OF | 6’4”/205 | R/R | Nashville Community HS (IL) | Uncommitted
Gavin is a big, physical presence on the field with some exciting tools. He drives the ball to all fields (92 mph exit velo) and fits well in a corner OF spot with good arm strength (87 mph).
Matty Clark | OF | 6’1”/185 | R/R | Damien HS (CA) | Arizona
With present strength and excellent instincts, Matty performed very well in Arizona. His BP produced lots of hard contact, he ran a 6.94 in the 60 and he read balls in the OF very well.
Kendrick Curry II | OF | 5’9”/160 | L/R | Maret School (DC) | Uncommitted
Kendrick has a coordinated, compact left-handed stroke that is geared for line drives to all fields. He runs well and has lots of upside – a prospect to follow closely.

Dean can fly, posting a 6.43 time in the 60 at the event. He has quick hands at the plate as well resulting in some hard contact and a 90 mph exit velocity. He’s aggressive on both sides of the ball and profiles to stay in center field.
Treyson Hughes | OF | 6’2”/165 | L/R | Lowndes HS (GA) | West Virginia
Treyson is the epitome of projection with a long, lean frame. He has good feel for the barrel and good strike zone judgement allowing him to reach base 5 out of 7 times including a triple.
Eddie Leon | OF | 6’0”/165 | R/R | Columbus HS (FL) | Uncommitted
There’s some explosiveness in what Eddie does on the field as evidenced by a 90 mph exit velocity. He generates good bat speed and the call comes off well. He is also a solid defender in the outfield.
Cameron Pittman | OF/LHP | 5’9”/164 | Nansemond River HS (VA) | Uncommitted
Another quick-twitch athlete who can impact the game in several ways, Cameron ran a blazing 6.53 in Arizona. He was on base a ton, stole three bases with ease and even jumped on the mound and struck out seven hitters without allowing a hit.
Luke Roussel | OF/RHP | 5’9”/170 | Galena HS (NV) | Uncommitted
Luke has an easy left-handed stroke with very good barrel accuracy. He went 2-for-4 with a double, a line out and two walks during game play using the entire field well.
Zechariah Samayoa | OF | 6’1”/180 | Los Alamitos HS (CA) | Uncommitted
With long levers and an aggressive approach, Zechariah swings the bat with intent. He’s athletic with some pull-side power that will continue to develop, and the ability to run balls down in the outfield.
