Baseball Factory 2015 MLB Draft Coverage – Power Hitters, Part 1

The 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft kicks off on Monday, June 8 and many of Baseball Factory’s top athletes are in the mix to have their names called during the event.

The Under Armour All-America Game, powered by Baseball Factory is the nation’s premier Baseball event, a springboard for the most talented baseball players in the country to showcase their skills as they ascend to the next level.

Since the game’s inception in 2008, 185 of the 208 draft eligible players from the Under Armour All-America Game were selected in the MLB Amateur Draft including 51 first round picks.

Today’s coverage highlights former Under Armour All-Americans who are the most advanced power hitters in the Draft and will be sure to give major league teams several options to look at.

The list includes Luken Baker, who has the best raw power of anyone in the 2015 class, after winning the Home Run Derby during last year’s Under Armour All-America Game festivities, by crushing pitches out of Wrigley Field onto Waveland Avenue. Josh Naylor, a left-handed slugger from St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, has shown he can hit for power anywhere in the ballpark against quality pitching.

Two more lefties round out today’s standout athletes with serious pop.

Kyle Tucker has a loose, natural stroke from the left side that can do damage against pitchers and has already shown an advanced approach and the ability to hit high-level pitching. Chris Betts also put on a show at last year’s Home Run Derby, displaying raw power and is one of the nation’s premier left-handed bats in the 2015 Draft, utilizing a clean stroke with repeatable power, especially to his pull side. He’s a polished hitter with a quality, overall approach.
