Despite only being a 2019 grad, Triston Casas can make a case for having the best hit/power combo of any current high school player, regardless of class. He has a big frame with large, strong hands and a pure left-handed stroke. He drives the ball to all fields and uses the natural loft in his swing to show plus raw power. His hands are extremely quick, and his overall approach at the plate is patient and mature. There is a lot of hard barrel contact from Triston.

As a defender, he is very capable at 3B and outstanding at 1B. He also can hop on the mound and run his fastball into the low 90s. This is an extremely exciting young prospect. Triston has already had success on a big international stage, and we don’t expect things to be any different in Chicago.
