Tools, the ability to use them, personality, and really the overall air around Henry all point to future Major Leaguer. He impressed every step of the way in KC. His 2 hits and stolen base in the game were icing on the cake after several loud BP sessions showing his ability to drive the ball to all fields.

A first for the Baseball Factory All-America Game – Loo pitched both right-handed and left-handed! He was effective from both sides across his 2 innings and still is remarkable in his ability to switch hitter-to-hitter and throw strikes. His fastball right-handed was up to 94 mph with a tight breaking ball, and he pitched effectively from the left side in the upper 80s with a bigger, slower curve.

Ryan came into the BF All-America Game with a reputation as one of the top hitters in the class and he only further solidified that with his performance. He stood in with confidence all weekend and collected 2 hits included a rocket double that only got about 5 feet off the ground and ended up in the RCF gap.

    McCalla, AL, 2022
    • HT/WT: 6'2''/195

Just a day after showing his 2-way skills in the game, Walter announced that he is re-classifying into the 2022 class. He immediately becomes one of the must-see RHPs in the class and his RH power continues to intrigue on the position player side. Overall, the combination of mid-90s velocity and sharp breaking ball give him the higher ceiling on the mound.

    • HT/WT: 6'2''/200

Matt’s lively fastball was up to 95 mph in Kansas City at the Baseball Factory All-America Game, and it had excellent finish through the zone. He’s aggressive on the mound with good pace to the game while he’s on the rubber. He has starter traits with an easy, repeatable delivery (that also has good tempo) and a quality 3-pitch mix.

    • HT/WT: 5'10''/215

Don’t look away while Adonys is on the field, or you will miss something exciting! The best defensive catcher in the class loves to impact the game with his arm, and he is also an advanced receiver and a natural leader. He showed his skills in handling quality arms with ease, as usual, and he also doubled down the left field line and scored a run.

    • HT/WT: 5'11''/150

While Jackson didn’t get much of an opportunity with the bat on Saturday – he walked in both plate appearances – he showed plenty throughout the event. On gameday he made several plays in the infield showing his instincts, sure hands and accurate arm. He also displayed his wheels with a stolen base and put together some of the most professional batting practice rounds during the workout and pre-game.

    Atlanta, GA, 2022
    • HT/WT: 5'9''/185

    • College Commitment: Arizona State University

Electric is the best way to describe Termarr. Both his personality and his abilities fit that description. He is the guy that people in the stadium stop what they’re doing to watch him hit. While he went hitless in the game, he did walk, steal a base, score a run, and take some good passes in the box. He continues to control at bats better than a high school player in recent memory and he brings a ton of positive energy to the field every day.

    Suwanwee, GA, 2022
    • HT/WT: 6'3''/170

Druw earned the game’s MVP award by knocking in the National Team’s 2nd run with an infield single and then breaking the game open with a rocket triple to the right-centerfield gap that drove in two more. He also glided around the outfield making a few difficult plays look easy. With perhaps the highest ceiling in the class Druw flashed tons of present ability as well throughout his time in KC.

    Savannah, TX, 2022
    • HT/WT: 6'2''/190

The winner of the HR Derby, Jayson has a strong, coordinated right-handed stroke that allows him to really impact the baseball. He is confident in the box and in control of his at bats. After his impressive Derby and BP sessions, Jayson walked, stole and base and scored a run in his first game plate appearance. Add in an infectious personality with passion for the game, and you have a player who makes a positive impact on his team each time he takes the field.

Justin did what he seems to do every time he steps on the mound – he got outs and did it easily. His clean inning included 2 strike outs and a weak ground ball. Even though the outing was brief he flashed his 3 quality pitches along with the ability to command them. He is what ML starters look like at this age.

    Edgewaterpark, NJ, 2022
    • HT/WT: 6'0''/185
    • High School: Moorestown High School
    • College Commitment: Rutgers University

One of the most talked-about prospects after the workout day, Maximus put himself on the national map with his performance in Kansas City. He squared up pitch after pitch in each batting practice shooting hard line drives to all fields and the gaps. His barrel is quick, and he stays balanced and controlled throughout. He also showed quick-twitch actions in the middle infield with instincts and arm strength and go with it.

Karson toed the rubber in his hometown of Kansas City to start the game and he was electric while pitching a perfect inning. His ultra-quick arm ran his fastball up to 94 with late life. It seems to jump on hitters quickly and he began the day striking out two of the best hitters in the class. His breaking ball showed late, tight break and his change is a quality third pitch. All signs point to a quality starting pitching prospect in Karson.

    Bradenton, FL, 2022
    • HT/WT: 5'10''/180

Brady’s polished all-around game showed through in both the workout and game. He stands out as a receiver, having handled high-level arms for some time, it seems to come easy for him behind the dish. He was excellent on some tough balls in the dirt as well, and his controlled left-handed stroke found the barrel in BP and in his sac fly in the game.

  • Nick Peoples - OF - 34

    Duarte, CA, 2022
    • HT/WT: 6'5''/200
    • High School: Northview High School
    • College Commitment: New Mexico State University

he game’s most memorable loud contact came off of Nick’s bat when he led off the bottom of the 2nd inning with a towering HR into the RF bullpen. There is an awful lot to like in a 6’5” switch hitter who generates over-the-fence power using a short, efficient stroke from both sides of the plate. He has natural loft in his stroke, and it seems that he hits one out every time he plays in a high-level event.

  • Brayden Risedorph - RHP - 24

    Kendallville, IN, 2022
    • HT/WT: 6'3''/235

Power is the name of the game with Brayden. He pitched a 1-2-3 8th inning for the National Team by simply attacking hitters with his heavy fastball that sat consistently in the 92-94 mph range. It has life through the zone and his quick tempo makes him the kind of pitcher that defenders love to play behind. His thick frame allows that leverage velocity to come pretty easily and there appears to be even more in the tank.

    • HT/WT: 6'0''/170

Mikey opened eyes throughout the event – first by hitting his way into the HR Derby finals with some impressive pull power on Friday, and then by stroking two hard singles in the game. The first led off the game for the National Team and was a line drive up the middle that came off the bat at 105 mph. He also brought his usual energy and excellent defensive actions to Kansas City.

    • College Commitment: University of Kentucky

There is a ton of upside with loud tools present in Tommy’s game. His easy LH stroke utilizes the entire field and shows flashes of carry. While he didn’t get to showcase his bat in the game, he did show his knowledge of the strike zone by walking twice – one of which forced in a run giving him an RBI. The speed/power combo is exciting and bears close following.

Turner closed out the game for the National Team while giving everyone a look at his starter’s profile. He throws quality strikes with his low 90s fastball and has an outstanding curve that has tight rotation and 2-plane break. A change with some fade is a solid third pitch – and they all come from a clean arm stroke and a low-effort delivery.

    • HT/WT: 6'3''/215

Sal is a fun young man to have on your team and an excellent hitter to have in the middle of your batting order. He went 1-3 with an RBI, a SB and a hard-hit line drive to RF for one of his outs. This came a day after his connected stroke drove balls over the LF fence at the Urban Youth Academy. He also showed sure hands and efficient feet at 3B.

It was quite a weekend for Yoel, who we first saw at a Baseball Factory event back in 2015. He put on an impressive power display in the showcase workout including a HR from the left side that traveled over 400 feet over the RCF wall. In addition, he doubled right-handed in the game and was up 92 mph in his inning on the mound. A true 2-way prospect, Yoel has an extremely high ceiling.

I’m still trying to figure out how Cam can impact the ball with such authority using what looks like such an easy swing to the naked eye. The ball jumps off his bat, he uses the entire field, he waits until the last second before firing and he does it all effortlessly. This is an extremely advanced hitter who had an RBI double in the game, and also showed extremely well in the defensive workout. Coming out of this event, Cam looked every bit of a top half of the 1st round guy.

Elijah continued to show why he is the top player in the class, going 2-3 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored. Both of his hits were hammered to the middle of the field – a single and a triple. All five tools were on display throughout the event as well as his usual maturity, leadership and high baseball IQ.

Fisher was a relative unknown going into the event, but he had a bit of a coming-out party at Kauffman Stadium. After a football game in Utah on Friday night, he arrived in KC just in time to jump into the last pre-game BP group and spray easy line drives to all fields with some carry. Despite not seeing live pitching in 2 months, Fisher had excellent at bats, going 1-4 and hitting several balls hard on the ground that allowed him to showcase his plus speed down the line. A high-level recruit in both sports, Fisher’s ceiling on the baseball field is extremely high!

Grant’s physicality and athleticism stand out on the field, and that was no different in Kansas City. He has an ideal durable catcher’s build, and he was solid behind the dish in workouts and the game. His strength and power showed through in the workout driving some balls deep to LF through the incoming wind. He was on base all 3 times in the game and showed his above-average speed with a stolen base.

Possessing perhaps the best raw power in the 2022 class, Jared put it on full display during the HR Derby Qualifying on Friday. While most right-handed hitters saw their squared-up drives to LF knocked down by a stiff wind in their face, Jared seemed to have no trouble driving balls through the wind and well over the LF fence. The ball is loud off his bat! He contributed a sacrifice fly to right field during the game and threw out a runner attempting to steal 2nd on a strong, accurate throw.

David struck out 2 in his inning of work at Kauffman Stadium. His fastball sat comfortably in the low 90s with heavy tailing action and he paired it with one of the best breaking balls of the day. It has the ¾ shape you would expect from his arm slot, and it has bite and depth to it. His change rounds out his quality repertoire, and he should be a riser who garners a lot of attention this spring.

Kyle breezed quickly through his first inning of work allowing him to come out and face some more hitters in the next inning. His tall, lean frame works well down the mound with some deception to his delivery and release. There is a ton of upside here, and he appears on the verge of making a big jump in velocity and stuff that should make him one of the marquee arms in the northeast this spring.

Owen quickly became a favorite of the staff and scouts. His energy and passion for the game shine through in everything he does. While Oliver wasn’t quite as sharp as normal at Kauffman Stadium, he still pitched a scoreless 8th inning for the American Team. His long, athletic frame works well on the mound, and he mixes his pitches well, including a fastball that was up to 90 mph, and has a knack for missing barrels.

Jared is one of the most advanced, mature hitters in the class. He stands in well from the left side and seems to see the ball very well. He’s disciplined in the box, is consistently on time, and finds the barrel consistently. He showed his ability to use the entire field throughout his BP sessions and he ripped a double into the RF corner in the game showing a very quick barrel. A case can be made that Tucker was the most consistent hitter throughout the summer. He has confidence and rhythm from both sides of the plate with excellent feel for the barrel. He made some good swings with nothing to show for it in the game, but it is clear that he can really hit, with more power from the left side.

He controls the barrel so well and always seems to be on time, showing the ability to handle velocity and recognize and adjust to off-speed stuff. He is also extremely reliable at SS with sure hands and a strong, accurate arm making him one of the top all-around players in the class.
